Due to continued business growth, Absolute is looking for an experienced Architect Technician.
An exciting opportunity to join our multi-award winning, highly experienced, and passionately entrepreneurial team of architects, interior designers and developers.
Based in stunning Cornwall, Absolute works in collaboration with our ambitious development team Stephens and Stephens to design and deliver stunning new homes in Cornwall. Stephens and Stephens have secured over 20 million worth of new projects in the last 6 months and as such we are ready to grow!
As well as working closely with our partner development team, Absolute design and deliver projects for our own commercial clients in the retail and hospitality sectors. Design led, we have been delivering places and spaces from conception through to delivery since 1991.
You will be experienced in both residential and commercial projects, some planning and building regulations would be a benefit. Working in AutoCAD alongside our team of interior designers and architects. A team player this is an opportunity to work on exciting projects nationwide.

Responsibilities:
- Working as a team and taking direction from our Architectural Design Manager to deliver detailed information and drawings to support the site construction development team.
- Some experience in planning applications, pre-commencement conditions and liaison with planning officer.
- Work with the team to collate pre start plans, paperwork, organise surveys and reports with external consultants.
- Attend briefing meetings, site meetings and Zoom meetings as and when required.
- Build relationships and trust with clients.
Skills:
- At least 12 months experience in the residential development sector
- Self starter and disciplined worker as well as a team player
- Organising and planning skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Passion for design
- A keenness to share knowledge and learn from the team
- Design and construction detailing
- Understanding of building control
- Issue accurate drawings to site
