Architect Technician

An exciting opportunity to join our multi award winning, highly experienced, and passionately entrepreneurial team of architects, interior designers and developers.

Based in stunning Cornwall, Absolute works in collaboration with our ambitious development team Stephens and Stephens to design and deliver stunning new homes in Cornwall. Design led, we deliver places and spaces from conception through to delivery.

You will have at least 3 years experience in both residential and commercial projects, planning and building regulations. Working in AutoCAD alongside our team of interior designers and architects. A team player this is an opportunity to work on exciting projects nationwide.

A fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to work in a fast paced design studio. Get on the job the experience of generating detailed drawing packages for retail, hospitality and residential projects to the highest level.

Account Director

WE ARE ABSOLUTE – passionate about delivering award winning brands and interiors since 1991.

Due to the business growing our award-winning branding and interiors team are looking for an experienced Account Director with a passion for everything design to join our dedicated and talented team of architects, interior and graphic designers.

As our Account Director you are the administration and communication between client and studio and, studio and Absolute’s accounts department.

Your role is to ensure clear communication and efficient administration of all projects for the design studio and accounts team.

You should have good communication skills, be thorough, organised and manage yours and others time efficiently.

You should be proficient in phone and email communications, Microsoft Office and Creative Suite [although training can be provided on Creative Suite if required].

ACTIVITY

  • Prioritise efficiently the studio workload between design team
  • Brief designers on project requirements, budget and deadline
  • Liaise with clients on the status of their projects, budgets, quoting, timings and deadlines.
  • Update digital project planning software- Liaise with suppliers and contractors on quotes, orders, materials, deliveries
  • Prepare weekly planning meetings with studio team

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that clients are kept up to date on the progress and costs of their project
  • Ensure the designers studio schedule is efficiently planned, negotiating time requirements with designer and creative director
  • Attend briefing meetings with clients both at Absolute and at client offices where necessary
  • Build relationship and trust with clients
  • Source competitive quotes for outside services with Absolute recommended suppliers

Our award-winning brand and interiors studio is looking for a receptionist/admin assistant to join our dedicated team of architects and designers.

You should have good communication skills, be thorough, organised and manage your time efficiently. You will support the studio team with admin support, great visitors, take calls and share messages.
