FINER DINING, DOUBLE THE BUSINESS
How an aligned interior & brand enhanced this fine dining restaurant
This reimagining and enhancing of the customer experience began with a redesign of the interior, in order to give more covers, a new layout and kitchen, as well as a bar servery. This was a question of form matching function, as we wanted to align the needs of the diner (a more enjoyable and comfortable space) with those of staff (a better and easier environment in which they could work more effectively).
We redefined the interior’s design and seating, as well as creating new waiter stations to aid staff serving. The space’s flexibility and versatility were boosted by a new bar servery which doubles as a breakfast buffet. The restaurant also features a new fine wine store and display.
Business value doubled over an eight-year period, from £3m to £6m. Feedback – both from diners and via rave reviews in the
Food & Beverage press – was very encouraging and overall bookings rose by 20%.
