Absolute’s Interior Design work on The Stamford Post in Stamford, Lincolnshire for J D Wetherspoon has been shortlisted in the ‘Pub’ category of The International Restaurant & Bar Design Awards, alongside 6 others.
Now in its seventh year, it is the only awards ceremony in the world dedicated to the design of food and beverage spaces. The shortlist includes 214 projects across 32 categories from the world’s leading architects, interior designers, lighting designers and restaurant and bar operators. Past and present judges from hospitality, design and lifestyle include Tony Chambers (Editor in Chief of Wallpaper*), Alberto Alessi, Marcus Wareing and Thomas Heatherwick. Entries from over 70 countries cover every imaginable space, from ships to airports, museums to burger vans, and from revered Michelin-starred establishments to the fleeting dynamism of pop-ups.
The winners of the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards will be announced during a unique ceremony strongly positioned on ‘innovation’ at London’s Old Truman Brewery on the 1st October 2015.
